Nine things OneHash HR actually does
Employee records, the joining-to-exit lifecycle, shifts, leave, expenses, fleet, hiring, performance reviews and HR reporting — what each one covers.
Everything below used to be a single 500KB image on this page — nine headings and nine paragraphs, rendered as a picture. Nobody using a screen reader could read a word of it, no search engine could index it, and every visitor on a phone downloaded half a megabyte to see it. So here it is as text.
Employee management
Employee profiles, contact details and reporting lines in one place. Because the records are central rather than sitting in one person’s spreadsheet, anyone who needs to look something up can, and an update happens once instead of in four places.
Employee lifecycle management
Joining to leaving, handled as one process: onboarding, the documents that go with it, changes along the way, and the exit. The point is that nothing is re-entered at each stage — the record follows the person.
Shift and attendance management
Shift scheduling, time tracking, and attendance that reconciles against it. For anyone running more than one shift, this is the difference between knowing who is on the floor today and finding out on payroll day.
Leave management
Requests, approval chains and balances. Automating it matters less for the time saved than for the arguments avoided: everyone can see the same balance and the same policy applied the same way.
Expenses and claims
Expense submission, reimbursement and claim tracking without paper. Digitising it removes the two things people complain about — lost receipts and the wait — because the claim is visible at every stage.
Fleet management
For companies running vehicles: tracking, maintenance schedules and fuel costs against each vehicle. Useful mainly because maintenance stops being something you remember late.
Recruitment and training
Job postings, applicant tracking and training programmes. Hiring and the onboarding that follows it sit in the same system as the employee record, so a candidate becomes an employee without anyone retyping them.
Performance management
Goals, reviews and feedback, recorded rather than remembered. A structured cycle mostly earns its keep by making the conversation consistent — the same criteria, the same schedule, for everyone.
Reporting
Reports across headcount, attendance, performance and the rest. Because HR sits on the same database as the rest of OneHash, a question that spans HR and finance — cost per head by department, say — is one report rather than two exports and a spreadsheet.
Where this sits
HR is one of the four things OneHash does, alongside sales, accounting and operations, on one database and one price per user. If you want to see it working rather than read about it, the live demo has data already in it.
