Switching
Nobody stays on bad software because they like it.
They stay because moving looks worse. Years of customers, invoices and stock history, and a team that already knows where everything is. So we do the migration, it is included, and you keep the old system running until you are satisfied.
- Customers, contacts and the notes on them
- Open deals, at the stage they are at
- Invoice and payment history
- Chart of accounts and opening balances
- Item master, stock on hand and valuations
- Employees, salary structures and leave balances
- Open projects, tasks and tickets
Included in onboarding. Not a paid professional-services engagement.
- Coming from
Tally
Your books are sound; what you are missing is everything around them. Ledgers, masters and opening balances import cleanly, and from there the sales, stock and payroll that currently sit outside Tally come onto the same system.
- · Chart of accounts and ledgers mapped, not flattened
- · GST setup carried over
- · Runs in parallel until you close a clean month in both
- Coming from
SAP
Usually the problem is not capability, it is that the licence, the consultant and the change-request queue cost more than the business can justify. The functional coverage you actually use tends to be a fraction of what you pay for.
- · We map the modules you genuinely use, not the full licence
- · Master data and open transactions migrate
- · Configuration changes stop needing a purchase order
- Coming from
Salesforce
Accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities and custom fields come across with their history. What changes is what sits behind them: the invoice against the closed deal is now in the same system, not in a separate accounting package.
- · Custom objects and fields recreated, not discarded
- · Pipeline stages kept exactly as your team knows them
- · Per-seat cost typically falls substantially
- Coming from
HubSpot & Zoho
Both are good at the top of the funnel. The usual reason for leaving is the tier ladder — the feature you need next always sits one plan up, and the operations side of the business was never in there at all.
- · Contacts, deals, pipelines and email history import
- · Workflows rebuilt to match what you had
- · No tier above you holding a feature hostage
How it goes
Five steps, and you can stop at any of them.
Nothing is switched off at your end until you say so. If it does not work, you have lost a fortnight, not a year.
- 01We look at your dataAn export from your current system, and an honest answer about what will and will not come across.
- 02Trial importYour real records in a real instance, so you are judging your own data rather than a demo.
- 03Configure with your teamStages, fields, approvals and reports set up by the people who will use them daily.
- 04Run both in parallelFor as long as you want. Most teams close one month in both systems and compare.
- 05Cut overFinal delta import, and the old subscription stops. You keep your exports either way.
The awkward questions
Asked and answered
- What does the migration cost?
- Nothing. It is part of onboarding. We would rather you moved successfully than paid us for the privilege of trying.
- How long does it take?
- A straightforward move is about a week. Multi-company structures, several years of stock history or heavy customisation take longer, and we will tell you that at step one rather than at step four.
- What will not come across?
- Anything your current vendor does not let you export — some systems restrict attachments, call recordings and audit trails. We identify those before you commit, not after.
- Can we leave later?
- Yes, and you can export everything yourself at any time without asking us. A system that is hard to leave is a system that stops trying.
- Our team hates change. Honestly.
- Reasonable of them. That is why setup is done by the people who will use it — a system configured by its users gets adopted; one configured by a consultant gets worked around.
